The "make your blend look polished and pretty" effect This is a basic effect that all blenders use. You can expand this effect by using different colors and filters and combinations. When your blend is finished go to layer>flatten image. After you flatten image go to layer>duplicate layer. Now, go to filters and select a filter (gaussian blur or motion blur are the most common filters for this effect) After you've applied a filter to the top layer, change the layer setting from normal to whatever you think looks best (overlay or screen is the most common for this effect) Then add the finishing touches by playing with the top layers saturation, contrast and other settings.
