There are 2 ways to change the image size.

#1:

Go Image -> Image Size and there you can regulate it so it would suit for your layer J

 If you don’t know exactly how big you want your image to be, then just click on ‘move tool’ now check that ‘show bounding box’ is on

And then simply place your cursor to the upper corner of the image so you can see an arrow, hold down the ‘shift’ key and you can change the image size to whatever you want by just moving your cursor.
